Highlights

A firm protested a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) contract award for navigation antennas, contending that: (1) the awardee's product did not meet the requirements; and (2) FAA improperly made award on the basis of price after unreasonably concluding that the awardee's and protester's proposals were technically equal. GAO held that the protester was not sufficiently interested to challenge the award, since it would not be in line for award even if its protest were sustained. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
