[Protest of Air Force Solicitation for Custodial Services]
B-240892: Dec 21, 1990
- Full Report:
A firm protested an Air Force solicitation for custodial services, contending that a performance bond requirement was: (1) unduly restrictive of competition; (2) unnecessary to the contract; and (3) would raise contract costs. GAO held that the Air Force reasonably required a performance bond to ensure continuous provision of custodial services. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
