Highlights

A firm protested the Army Corps of Engineers' rejection of its low bid for general repairs and steam modernization projects, contending that: (1) its sureties' net worth was sufficient, and it provided adequate documentation thereof; and (2) the Corps did not provide it sufficient time to furnish additional documentation on its sureties' net worth. GAO held that the: (1) Corps reasonably found the protester's bid unacceptable, since it could not verify the individual sureties' financial resources and net worth; and (2) protester untimely protested the allegedly insufficient time to submit additional information. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
