Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of a decision which denied its protest under a Defense Personnel Support Center (DPSC) solicitation for medical instruments. GAO had held that the protester failed to provide sufficient evidence to support its contentions. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) the specifications were inadequate; and (2) DPSC was refusing to supply samples of a product that conformed to the specifications. GAO held that: (1) the protester merely reiterated its contentions regarding the specifications; and (2) DPSC was not required to supply samples that precisely conformed to the specifications. Accordingly, the original decision was affirmed.
