Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of a decision in which GAO denied its protest that the Forest Service improperly rejected its late bid. The protester: (1) contended that GAO misinterpreted the reasoning of its protest; and (2) requested a conference to clarify its argument. GAO held that: (1) it carefully considered the protest and found no basis on which to allow consideration of the bid; (2) the protester demonstrated no errors of fact or law in the decision; and (3) the matter could be resolved without a conference. Accordingly, the prior decision was affirmed.
