[Request for Review of GSA Deduction Action]

A firm requested review of action taken by the General Services Administration (GSA) to recover overcharges collected by the protester for the transportation of Government property. GSA deducted the amount of the overcharge from moneys otherwise due the protester. The overcharge occurred because of a disagreement as to whether the commodity shipped should have been classified as rocket launchers or as aircraft parts. GAO held that GSA properly determined that the material was rocket launchers. Accordingly, the collection action was sustained.
