An employee appealed the Claims Group's denial of his claim for additional subsistence expenses incurred in connection with a temporary duty assignment. His agency allowed partial reimbursement for laundry and dry cleaning expenses, but would not allow total reimbursement because most of the cleaning expenses were incurred near the conclusion of the assignment. GAO stated that there was no basis to disturb the agency's determination since the decision regarding the entitlement was not erroneous, arbitrary or capricious. Accordingly, the Claims Group's finding was affirmed.
