Highlights

A firm protested that the lighting systems supplied by a subcontractor under an Army contract award did not meet the contract requirements. The protester requested that the allegedly deficient components be removed and replaced by systems provided either by the existing supplier or by the protester. GAO will consider a protest against a subcontract award only under limited circumstances, none of which were alleged in this case. Further, product conformance is a matter of contract administration which is not for review under bid protest procedures. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
