Claim for Backpay

GAO received a letter regarding a servicemember's claim for back pay due to an extended detail of approximately two years. GAO had previously closed the case pending the Air Force's compliance with GAO regulations in submitting the claim for consideration under 4 C.F.R. Part 22.

 

GAO suggested the claimant consult with the Union representatives involved to protest their interests.
