Request for Waiver of Debt by Military Member for Erroneous Payments

A Navy member who received erroneous basic allowance for quarters payments while assigned Government quarters should have known that the payments were erroneous. The member was at fault for not bringing this to the attention of the appropriate official. Waiver was precluded as there was a showing of fault on the recipient's part.
