Request for Review of Settlement Action Taken by the Former Transportation and Claims Division of GAO

The claimant requested review of a settlement action taken by the former Transportation and Claims Division (TCD) of GAO on September 16, 1974. Transfer of the transportation audit function from GAO to the General Services Administration (GSA), effective October 12, 1975, included settled claims. The request for review of the settlement, received by GAO more than 6 months from the date of final dispositive action by GSA or 3 years from the date of the deduction, was time-barred.
