Officer's Claim for Round Trip Mileage between Residence and Air Terminal

A decision was requested concerning a Marine Corps Officer's entitlement to mileage for two round trips between his residence and an air terminal in connection with temporary duty travel. He may not be reimbursed for the mileage between his residence and the terminal which was not local, but he may be reimbursed for travel to and from the airport on the basis of one way mileage.
