Entitlement to Dependency Allowances

The Disbursing Officer, United States Communication Station, requested a decision concerning the entitlement of Lt. Stang to dependency allowances for Deanna C. Stang, his wife. Reimbursements for quarters and other allowances had not been approved because the validity of his Turkish divorce from his first wife was questionable. The divorce was considered valid in the United States, and the payment of dependency allowances was authorized. (SW)
