Clause in Solicitation Limited Competition

The protester contended that a certain clause in the solicitation was unduly restrictive of competition and that it would force the Government to pay more for certain parts. The effect of the clause was negative, and it tended to reduce competition by discouraging the lowest possible prices on price lists. These restrictive requirements should be modified.
