REFERENCE IS MADE TO LETTER DATED APRIL 26, 1968, WITH ATTACHED FILE, FROM THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY (INSTALLATIONS AND LOGISTICS), REGARDING THE APPEAL OF THE LIGHTNER ELECTRIC COMPANY, OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA, FOR REMISSION OF LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $1,231.88, WHICH WERE ASSESSED AGAINST THE COMPANY AS THE RESULT OF CERTAIN DELAYS IN PERFORMANCE OF CONTRACT NO. F34650-67-C-0800, DATED AUGUST 1, 1967.

BY VIRTUE OF THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME BY THE PROVISIONS OF 41 U.S.C. 256A, AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR RECOMMENDATION, I HEREBY APPROVE REMISSION OF THE LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $1,231.88.
