NATHANIEL MOSLEY: REFERENCE IS MADE TO YOUR LETTER OF JANUARY 26. CONCERNING DISALLOWANCE OF YOUR CLAIM FOR WAGES YOU WERE TOLD WERE DUE FOR WORK YOU PERFORMED FOR W. WHILE YOUR NAME WAS INCLUDED IN A CORPS OF ENGINEERS PREPARED SCHEDULE. LISTING PERSONS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN PAID LESS THAN THE MINIMUM WAGE RATES PRESCRIBED IN THE CONTRACT. AS YOU WERE ADVISED IN CLAIMS DIVISION SETTLEMENT OF AUGUST 8. THE EVIDENCE SUBMITTED TO THIS OFFICE TO SUPPORT THE SCHEDULE DID NOT ESTABLISH CONCLUSIVELY THAT ANY ADDITIONAL WAGES WERE DUE AND OWING TO YOU. FOR THAT REASON YOUR CLAIM WAS DISALLOWED. THE FUNDS THAT HAD BEEN WITHHELD FROM THE CONTRACTOR'S EARNINGS UNDER THE CONTRACT FOR WAGE ADJUSTMENTS HAVE NOW BEEN PAID TO THE CONTRACTOR.
