THIS CLAIM CONCERNS THE CHARGES ON A SHIPMENT FROM EARL, NEW JERSEY, JULY 9, 1956, TRANSITED AT CULBERTSON, PENNSYLVANIA, ON YOUR LINE, AND RESHIPPED OCTOBER 11, 1957, TO FORT JACKSON, SOUTH CAROLINA.

THE ENTIRE RECORD OF THIS SHIPMENT HAS BEEN LOCATED AND SUSTAINS YOUR ASSERTION THAT YOU WERE ALLOWED $129.36 FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF THE TRANSITED PORTION OF THIS SHIPMENT FROM EARL, NEW JERSEY, TO CULBERTSON, PENNSYLVANIA. HOWEVER SINCE THE SHIPMENT WAS IN TRANSIT OVER 12 MONTHS IT APPEARS THE TRANSIT CHARGE SHOULD BE THAT IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF RESHIPMENT, $42.39, RATHER THAN $48.32 PREVIOUSLY BILLED.
