FURTHER REFERENCE IS MADE TO YOUR LETTER OF JULY 27, 1960, FILE B.647.5 CJC, IN WHICH YOU REQUEST REVIEW OF OUR SETTLEMENT CERTIFICATE DATED MARCH 23, 1960 (OUR CLAIM TK-678356) WHICH DISALLOWED YOUR CLAIM NO. 15468, YOUR SUPPLEMENTAL BILL NO. 7 LC-LA (5-LB 21) FOR $156.39, AND OF OUR NOTICE OF EXCESS CHARGES (USGAO FORM 1003), WHICH NOTIFIED YOU OF AN OVERCHARGE OF $46.11 ON YOUR BILL NO. 6-32. THE CLAIMS INVOLVE THE QUESTION OF THE APPLICABILITY OF THE EXCLUSIVE-USE CHARGES ASSESSED BY YOU ON A SHIPMENT OF MISCELLANEOUS FREIGHT, TRANSPORTED FROM LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, VIRGINIA, TO TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, MIDWEST CITY, OKLAHOMA, UNDER GOVERNMENT BILL OF LADING NO. AF-7180377 DATED JUNE 10, 1957.

TODAY WE HAVE INSTRUCTED OUR TRANSPORTATION DIVISION TO ALLOW YOUR CLAIM ON THE BASIS OF EXCLUSIVE-USE CHARGES AS AUTHORIZED BY THE APPLICABLE TARIFF, IF OTHERWISE PROPER. YOU SHOULD RECEIVE NOTICE OF THE REVISED SETTLEMENT IN DUE COURSE.
