INSTRUCTIONS ARE TODAY BEING ISSUED TO OUR CLAIMS DIVISION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE COMPANY OF THE AMOUNT OF $137. 250 HEREIN AUTHORIZED FOR PAYMENT ARE DISALLOWED. THE DISALLOWANCE IS BASED ON THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY'S RECOMMENDATION TO ALLOW ONLY $137. 250 WHICH AMOUNT IS BEING ACCEPTED BY OUR OFFICE AS REPRESENTING THE GOVERNMENT'S ESTIMATE OF THE REASONABLE COSTS FOR THE OMITTED ELECTRICAL WORK.

IN REFERENCE TO YOUR LETTER OF OCTOBER 7, 1960, WITH ENCLOSURES, REGARDING THE CLAIM OF NOLLA, GALIB AND COMPANY, IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $142,000 UNDER DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY CONTRACT NO. NBY-10131, INSTRUCTIONS ARE TODAY BEING ISSUED TO OUR CLAIMS DIVISION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE COMPANY OF THE AMOUNT OF $137,250.

ALL AMOUNTS CLAIMED IN EXCESS OF THE $137,250 HEREIN AUTHORIZED FOR PAYMENT ARE DISALLOWED.
