REFERENCE IS MADE TO YOUR LETTER DATED SEPTEMBER 31 (30), 1957, CONCERNING YOUR CLAIM FOR AMOUNTS ALLEGED TO BE DUE INCIDENT TO YOUR MILITARY SERVICE. ALSO, THE HONORABLE DENNIS CHAVEZ, UNITED STATES SENATE, HAS FORWARDED TO US FOR CONSIDERATION YOUR LETTER DATED NOVEMBER 11, 1957, TO HIM.

IN OUR DECISION OF FEBRUARY 3, 1953, B-109018, THERE WAS SET FORTH A CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT OF YOUR PAY ACCOUNT, SHOWING ALL PROPER CREDITS AND DEBITS FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBER 1, 1941, THROUGH JULY 3, 1943, THE DATE OF YOUR DISCHARGE, IT APPEARING THAT YOU WERE LAST PAID IN FULL ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1941. THE STATEMENT SHOWED THAT YOU WERE ENTITLED TO A FURTHER PAYMENT OF $44 WHICH WAS ALLOWED BY OUR SETTLEMENT OF FEBRUARY 6, 1953. THE ALLOWANCE AND PAYMENT TO YOU OF THAT AMOUNT WAS EXPLAINED TO YOU BY LETTER DATED JULY 2, 1957, FROM OUR CLAIMS DIVISION, WHICH LETTER ALSO ENCLOSED A COPY OF THE DECISION OF FEBRUARY 3, 1953.

OUR DECISIONS IN CASES OF THIS NATURE ARE FINAL AND CONCLUSIVE ON THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND INDEPENDENT AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT, EXCEPT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES NOT HERE INVOLVED, AND THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION HAS NO JURISDICTION IN SUCH MATTERS. HENCE, WE HAVE NO FORMS WHICH WE CAN SEND TO YOU FOR USE IN APPEALING OUR DECISION.

UNDER DATE OF SEPTEMBER 16, 1957, WE ADVISED YOU THAT YOUR LETTER OF JULY 18, 1957, PRESENTED NO NEW OR MATERIAL EVIDENCE THAT WAS NOT CONSIDERED BY US AT THE TIME THE DECISION OF FEBRUARY 3, 1957, WAS RENDERED. LIKEWISE, YOUR PRESENT LETTERS CONTAIN NO NEW OR MATERIAL EVIDENCE WHICH WOULD WARRANT FURTHER OR DIFFERENT ACTION THAN THAT PREVIOUSLY TAKEN. ANY ADDITIONAL CORRESPONDENCE FROM YOU WILL SERVE NO USEFUL PURPOSE.
