Audit of Financial Transactions of the House Sergeant at Arms for the 12 Months Ended June 30, 1981

GAO examined the balance sheet of the Sergeant at Arms as of December 31, 1980, and June 30, 1981, and related statements of financial transactions for appropriated funds and deposit funds for each of the 6-month periods then ended. The examination was made in accordance with generally accepted Government auditing standards and included such tests of the accounting records and such other auditing procedures considered necessary in the circumstances.
