Highlights

A Senator requested information concerning the handling of the pension rights of Mr. John A. Wylie and Mr. J. Robert Loftis and the general treatment of their cases. Federal law provided that when an individual is convicted of certain offenses relating to the security of the United States, including offenses of that nature under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the payment of his annuity is to be withheld. The two former employees involved were indicted for conspiracy to embezzle Government funds. One of the persons has been tried and convicted. The trial of the other individual is pending.
