A firm protested a Department of the Navy purchase order award for modified Sony MiniDisc recorders and related accessories, contending that the solicitation sought quotations for a modified recorder and accessories manufactured and distributed exclusively by the protester. GAO held that the solicitation did not require that the product be manufactured by the protester. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
