The Department of Agriculture asked for GAO's comments on its proposed plan for carrying out the provisions of the Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act. Specifically, Agriculture asked about the form and available funds for the cost of such plans.

GAO advised that if it is administratively determined that the most economical or best method of disseminating and making public such information is by broadcast from electrical transcriptions, the appropriation for carrying out the provisions of the act is available for the preparation of such transcriptions.
