Creative Electric Incorporated:
Creative Electric Incorporated protests the award of a contract to G&D Aircraft under United States Army Missile Command request for proposals No. DAAHOl-88-R-A438. Creative contends that G&D should not have received the award because, among other reasons, the firm is not an approved source for the Patriot Missile repair part being purchased.
The agency advises us that its notice of award sent to Creative mistakenly advised that G&D was the awardee. The notice should have stated that Andersen Laboratories, Inc., an approved source, was the awardee.
Since Creative's protest is against an award to G&D and no such award was made, Creative's protest is academic and it is dismissed.
