Highlights

A firm protested a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) solicitation for pharmaceutical products, contending that VA's price evaluation scheme was improper, since it did not ensure that the lowest evaluated price would provide the actual lowest cost to the government. GAO held that VA's price evaluation was proper, since there was no evidence to conclude that VA's approach to evaluating prices would produce misleading results. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
