Highlights

A firm protested the Air Force's proposed corrective action in response to its protest of a contract award for construction services, contending that the: (1) immediate termination of the contract and all uncompleted delivery orders was required since the awardee was not an eligible small business concern; (2) proposed March 15, 2000, deadline for a new award was not sufficiently prompt; and (3) original solicitation should be reopened. GAO held that the corrective action proposed by the Air Force was reasonable, since the Air Force would: (1) allow the improperly awarded contract to expire; (2) not place any new orders under the contract; and (3) promptly conduct recompetition. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
