[Request for Reimbursement of Bid and Protest Costs]

Two firms requested that they be reimbursed the costs of filing and pursuing their protests of a Defense Logistics Agency solicitation for cholesterol-lowering drugs. GAO held that it would not recommend that the protesters be reimbursed the costs of filing and pursuing their protests, since the protest arguments were not clearly meritorious. Accordingly, the claims for costs were denied.
