[Protest of Treasury Solicitation for Food Service]

A firm protested a Department of the Treasury solicitation for food services, contending that the solicitation's requirements imposed undue risk on the contractor. GAO held that Treasury reasonably: (1) determined that the solicitation requirements met its needs; and (2) provided the protester with adequate information to prepare a bid that accounted for the risk factors. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
