A firm protested an Air Force contract award for a 40-foot articulating boom lift, contending that the Air Force lost a quote received through the Federal Acquisition Computer Network due to a computer error. GAO held that the loss was an isolated error, and was not part of any deliberate effort to exclude the protester from the competition or the result of the Air Force's failure to have adequate procedures in place for the receipt and safeguarding of quotes. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
