[Protest of Army Solicitation for Weapons System Components]

A firm protested an Army solicitation for foreign military sales acquisition of TOW 2 Launcher Systems and associated auxiliary equipment, contending that the solicitation improperly restricted competition by combining procurements for two system components. GAO held that the combination of system requirements was unobjectionable because the foreign military sales customer requested that all system components be acquired under a consolidated procurement. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
