GAO published a guide to aid federal agencies in managing and assessing their year 2000 testing activities, focusing on: (1) establishing an organizational testing infrastructure; (2) designing, conducting, and reporting on four incremental levels of system-related testing; and (3) establishing test oversight and control activities.
