A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protests of a Navy contract award for generators. GAO had held that the protester's product did not meet the solicitation's specification for protection against chemical warfare agent contamination. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO erroneously determined that its product did not meet the solicitation specification. GAO held that: (1) it would not consider the protest, since the protester failed to present information that would warrant reversal or modification of the original decision; and (2) the protester should have raised these concerns during its initial protest. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
