Highlights

A firm protested an Air Force contract award for centrifugal pumps, contending that the Air Force should have rejected the awardee's bid as technically unacceptable, since it did not comply with the solicitation specifications. GAO held that the: (1) Air Force reasonably determined that the awardee's proposed product complied with the solicitation specifications; and (2) protester failed to present any evidence that the awardee's product was technically unacceptable. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
