Highlights

A firm protested a Navy contract award for launch systems canisters and associated hardware, contending that the Navy: (1) failed to consider the impact of government-furnished material on the awardee's prices; and (2) conducted a flawed price analysis. GAO held that: (1) even if the Navy miscalculated the awardee's price as the protester contended, it would not result in a different award decision; and (2) the Navy reasonably conducted its price analysis on the basis of proposed and historical prices. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
