Highlights

A firm protested an Air Force solicitation for safety eyeglasses and spare parts, contending that the interchangeability requirement was unduly restrictive. GAO held that the: (1) interchangeability requirement was not unduly restrictive, since it was reasonably related to the Air Force's minimum needs; and (2) protester was not sufficiently interested to protest the solicitation specifications, since it was not a prospective bidder eligible for award. Accordingly, the protest was denied in part and dismissed in part.
