Highlights

A firm protested the Navy's rejection of its bid for asbestos removal, contending that: (1) its bid showed that its sureties were acceptable; and (2) the Small Business Administration (SBA) should review the Navy's determination. GAO held that: (1) the protest was identical to a previous protest where it found that the Navy properly rejected the protester's bid as nonresponsible; and (2) SBA was not authorized to review the protester's sureties. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
