Highlights

A firm requested: (1) further reconsideration of its dismissed reconsideration request regarding its dismissed protest against allegedly unduly restrictive Navy solicitation specifications for strip chart recorders; and (2) reconsideration of its dismissed protest against the Navy's subsequent contract award. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed both the reconsideration request and the contract award protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the: (1) Navy improperly conducted the procurement; and (2) awardee's bid was unreasonably high. GAO held that the protester merely reiterated allegations it raised in the prior protests and failed to establish any factual or legal errors that would warrant reconsideration of the previous decisions. Accordingly, the reconsideration request was denied.
