Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against the Army Corps of Engineers' rejection of its bid for construction. GAO had held that the: (1) Army properly rejected the protester's bid, since its estimated performance period was impracticable; (2) Army was not required to accept the protester's high price; and (3) protester was not sufficiently interested to protest the award. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO failed to consider its protest issues regarding the Army's determination that: (1) its bid was unbalanced; and (2) it was nonresponsible. GAO held that the protester merely restated its original arguments. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
