A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against a Navy contract award for aircraft systems testing. GAO had held that a former Navy member employed by the awardee did not commit any conflict-of-interest violations during bid evaluation. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the former Navy member gave the awardee a competitive advantage through his: (1) access to the previous contract; and (2) presence at the awardee's preaward survey. The protester also contended that the Navy improperly conducted discussions with the awardee. GAO held that the protester merely reiterated its original contentions and failed to present any new evidence or information for consideration. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
