Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against an Army solicitation for learning laboratory instructor services. GAO had held that the protester was not sufficiently interested to protest, since it had allowed its bid to expire. In its request for reconsi deration, the protester contended that it had refused to extend its bid acceptance period, since it was concerned that the Army would award it a contract destined for default due to its instructor's lack of certification. GAO held that the protester failed to show any errors of fact or law in the original decision that warranted its reversal or modification. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
