Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against an Army contract award for night vision systems. GAO had held that the Army reasonably evaluated and made award to the only bidder that could supply the entire requirement. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the Army improperly: (1) did not consider the awardee's past performance in its evaluation; and (2) sought the awardee's assistance in responding to the protest. GAO held that the: (1) protester failed to show any errors of fact or law in the original decision; and (2) allegation that the Army responded improperly to the protest was irrelevant to the propriety of the award. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
