Highlights

The National Park Service (NPS) requested a decision regarding an employee's claim for reimbursement for shipment of his private vehicle from an overseas duty post to the continental United States. GAO held that the claimant was not entitled to reimbursement, since NPS had not originally shipped the vehicle to the overseas post at government expense. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
