GAO commented on an amendment to the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement changes concerning: (1) price limitations for small business set-aside and 8(a) contracts; (2) the release of information regarding bidders under small business set-asides; (3) the use of industrial categories to ensure a fair proportion of small business contract awards; and (4) subcontracting limitations. GAO noted that the amendment: (1) properly implemented the statutory changes; and (2) should include a price ceiling exception for 8(a) awards.
