Highlights

A transferred Air Force employee claimed a retroactive salary adjustment, contending that: (1) she was entitled to the same rate of pay that she received prior to her transfer; and (2) her new duty station's regulation regarding the highest-previous-rate rule discriminated against persons not married to federal civilian or military personnel. GAO held that: (1) the claimant was not entitled to an adjustment because she transferred at her request; and (2) it would not consider the claimant's discrimination complaint. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
