Highlights

A firm protested a proposed General Services Administration (GSA) contract award for facility renovation, contending that GSA: (1) improperly allowed the awardee to correct a bid error; and (2) intended to award the contract at the initial, uncorrected bid price. GAO held that: (1) GSA properly allowed the awardee to modify its bid, since the record clearly showed that it had erroneously omitted certain costs; (2) the proposed award was proper, since the corrected bid remained low; and (3) GSA should award the contract at the corrected bid price. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
