Highlights
A firm protested a proposed Army contract award for mess attendant services, contending that the Army improperly permitted the prospective awardee to correct a discrepancy in its bid. GAO held that: (1) the error resulted from a failure to adjust the total price to reflect a solicitation amendment; (2) the bid subtotals were correct; and (3) the Army reasonably allowed the bid correction, since the intended price was obvious. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
