[Comments on Interim Regulation Amending FAR]

GAO commented on an interim regulation amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement the Antikickback Act of 1986. GAO noted that the interim regulation: (1) added a new contract clause to track the provisions governing violations of the act; and (2) contained a provision which required contractors and subcontractors to incorporate the clause in all subcontracts. GAO had no objection to the interim regulation.
