Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of the dismissal of its protest against an Air Force contract award, contending that: (1) GAO misconstrued the basis for its protest in finding that it was untimely filed; (2) the Air Force may have released confidential information to the awardee; and (3) GAO should hold a conference on its protest. GAO held that: (1) there was no merit to the protester's contention that the timeliness rule did not apply to its protest; (2) the protester failed to show that the Air Force released confidential information to the awardee; and (3) a conference would serve no useful purpose. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
