[Comments on Proposed Change to FAR]

Comments were requested on a proposal to change a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to add coverage on public relations costs to the FAR contract cost principles. GAO has no objection to the proposed change, and it is particularly in favor of the proposed provision preventing unallowable public relations costs from being recovered under other FAR cost principles.
